MERGADO Marketplaces validation messages

This article explains the most common validation messages:

Allegro could not find a product with the specified ID = These products are not yet in the Allegro product catalogue and therefore a product card must be created for them in the “Product cards” section. Detailed instructions can be found here.

The given description does not comply with the Allegro format, the description provided by Allegro will be used instead, or the offer will be published without a product description = For an explanation of this validation message and a possible solution, see here.

The user does not have Returns Terms named: default = We’ve already added the option to choose your desired Allegro return terms to the app. Simply go to the campaign settings, select one of the available terms, save the changes and then sync the product feed in the campaign settings.

The user does not have Complaints Terms named: default = We have already added the option to select the desired complaints terms from Allegro. Simply go to the campaign settings, select one of the available terms, save the changes and then sync the product feed in the campaign settings.

The user does not have a shipping price list named: default = We’ve already added the option to select your desired shipping price list from Allegro to the app. Just go to the campaign settings, select one of the available shipping price lists, save the changes and then sync the product feed in the campaign settings.

Missing value of STOCK element, check your availability feed = In case of this message, it is possible that there is no value under the given PRODUCT_ID in the availability feed, or the product is completely missing in the availability feed. If you see this message for all products, check the format of the availability feed and whether the PRODUCT_ID in the product and availability feed match.

Allegro is missing mandatory parameters = Mandatory parameters are missing on the Allegro product card. This message does not refer to your data, but to the data of the user who created the product card on Allegro. Our application does not currently allow the addition of mandatory parameters to existing cards. You can try to add these parameters manually directly in the Allegro listing form. Simply go to the " List using form " section on Allegro, enter the EAN of the product in the search, select the product card you have found and click on the option " REPORT INCORRECT PRODUCT INFORMATION". You can then fill in all the required parameters and send the proposal to Allegro. Once the product card is complete on Allegro, your offer will be attached to the card after the product has been regenerated in Mergado Marketplaces.

Allegro could not find an exact matching product = You should only encounter this error message, which is displayed when there are multiple product cards with the same identifier in the Allegro product catalogue, in exceptional cases. Our application evaluates the status of the product cards on Allegro and assigns the offer to the best filled one. However, if none of the product cards are valid, the offer will not be assigned to any of them and the following message will appear in the validation.

An error occurred on Allegro’s side: the product card on Allegro does not contain any images, therefore the offer was not paired with the product card = Our app now sends product images to Allegro, but it only sends them as offer images. Therefore, if the product card is not in order on Allegro and there are some parameters or images missing, it is not possible to add these data to the product card via our app. And since the app only links your offer to an existing product card, it is not possible to publish it.
