What is the Mergado Marketplaces feed format?
The Mergado Marketplaces feed format is based on the Mergado XML format. It is intended for users who want to use the Mergado Marketplaces extension but are unsure which feed format is suitable for this add-on. In addition to simplifying decision-making when creating a project in the Mergado Editor, this format also brings advantages such as faster initial setup of Mergado Marketplaces and the ability to synchronize availability through this feed format.
What is this feed format used for?
When using the Mergado Marketplaces app, two types of data are needed:
- Product data
- Availability data

If you don’t have an availability feed available, don’t worry. You can easily solve this problem with the Mergado Editor 
The first option is to create a new project in the Mergado Editor dedicated purely to availability. Choose Mall or Heureka availability feed as the output format, and then use that in Mergado Marketplaces. A detailed guide can be found here.
If you already have availability (number of items in numerical format) and product data in a single feed, you can create a project in the Mergado Editor and select Mergado Marketplaces as the output format. This way, you only need one feed to synchronize both product data and availability.

Even though the Mergado Marketplaces add-on synchronizes availability every 15 minutes, the data in your Mergado Marketplaces feed will update according to how often the feed is regenerated in the Mergado Editor. For the most up-to-date availability, the best solution is still to obtain the availability feed directly from your e-commerce solution.
