Allegro GPSR changes
Starting in August, Allegro is introducing changes to how GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) information is filled in on its platform. Until now, you could use the element “Products placed on the market in the EU before 13.12.2024”, which allowed you to skip entering additional GPSR details.
However, sellers have reportedly been overusing the options “Products placed on the market in the EU before 13.12.2024” and “Do not send safety information”. In addition, Allegro has received feedback from the regulator that all online listings should include product safety details and manufacturer information. As a result, Allegro has decided to remove both of these options. For all new products, you will now be required to enter complete safety information and manufacturer details — regardless of the date the product was first placed on the market.
The ban on using “Do not send safety information” will take effect on August 4th. The removal of “Products placed on the market in the EU before 13.12.2024” will take effect on August 12th
When creating a new campaign in Mergado Marketplaces, if you leave the GPSR fields empty, we will attempt to pre-fill them using product data from Allegro’s product catalog. These are AI-generated details provided by Allegro, so we strongly recommend reviewing this information carefully before publishing.
Please note: If you already have existing listings on Allegro, it is currently not possible to fetch GPSR data from Allegro’s product cards via API. For all existing listings, you must enter the GPSR details manually, either directly in Mergado Marketplaces (in the campaign settings) or by using the Allegro AI-generated data.
How to add AI-generated data for GPSR via Allegro Sales Center? Follow these steps: “Assortment → My Assortment → select all → PRODUCT → Safety information / Manufacturer details”. There you can click:
- Complete with suggested manufacturers’ details
- The product includes safety information — add suggested content

New Order Statistics Section
We’ve added a brand-new ‘Statistics’ page to the Orders section, giving you a quick overview of your order performance across all active channels.
In one place, you can now track the total number of orders, their total value, average order value, and return rate. The metrics are accompanied by a time-series graph and clear aggregated totals. Thanks to a multi-element filter, you can easily select specific marketplaces, order statuses, or time periods you’re interested in. Below, you’ll also find an unfiltered channel breakdown for the selected marketplace over the past month.
This marks the beginning of our development of a new reporting module – more features are coming soon!
