Whatโ€™s New in Rules

  • :green_apple: :star_struck: The Import Data File rule now supports importing XML files!
    • Weโ€™ve also improved the workflow for setting up this type of rule.
  • :mouse: In the Rules list, extension (app) rules now include a direct link to the corresponding extension.
  • :rocket: When creating a new rule, a new selection screen is displayed, allowing users to:
    • Start creating a new rule with a specific rule type already selected.
    • See which rules are provided by extensions (apps) โ€“ with the option to enable such an extension directly in the project.
  • :tear_off_calendar: In the Add Days to Date rule form, we improved validation for entered numbers and refined the error messages.
  • :label: In the Set Product Parameters rule form, the last empty row (used to add new rows) was not being displayed. This has now been fixed.
  • :hammer: Fixed a bug in the Merge Variants rule for Shopify CSV formats, where Option Name and Option Value elements were exported with empty values, which Shopify does not accept.
  • :elements: Fixed a bug in the rules form that could occur when saving a rule during element-path validation, if the element path contained nested conditions.

Other News

  • :red_apple: :star: Improvements to Product Authorization (Product Approval)
    • Fixed an issue where, after enabling the authorization mode in an already existing project, it was not possible to approve or reject products that had been imported before the mode was enabled. Products now behave as follows when authorization is turned on:
      • All currently existing products are considered approved, except those that were previously rejected and manually hidden โ€“ these remain rejected.
      • Newly imported products are set as pending approval (they are hidden and queued for user review).
      • All products, regardless of when they were first imported, can now be approved or rejected.
    • :vertical_traffic_light: When authorization mode is turned off in a project:
      • Items that were pending are considered approved from that moment.
      • Items that were rejected remain manually hidden.
      • Items that were approved remain visible (not manually hidden).
    • Approval or rejection actions for products are now saved into the project history.
    • Fixed an issue where the product name and price were not displayed in the product approval overview table when the input format was Shopify.
  • :brain: We continue improving our format detection algorithms โ€“ adding many new signals to help identify formats more accurately.
  • :package: In the new project wizard, Shoptet formats now clearly offer the option to either split variants into separate items, or keep variants nested within a single item.
  • :globe_with_meridians: When enabling an extension (app) through the โ€œministoreโ€ (the Mergado Store page displayed under a specific e-shop or project) using the Activate button, users are now redirected directly into the newly enabled extension.
    • In the traditional Mergado Store (where extensions can be managed across multiple entities on one page), behavior remains unchanged โ€“ no redirect after activation.
  • :adhesive_bandage: Fixed an issue in the Mergado Store extension detail where the left-hand main menu could overlap screenshots. This no longer happens.
  • Fixed a number of smaller bugs and added various minor improvements.

:warning: Please note: During the rollout, you may experience minor service interruptions in Mergado. Thank you for your understanding and patience while the new version is deployed.
