How to set the feed format
You set the output feed format when creating a new project.
Procedure:
- Create a new project
- Select the format of your current feed as input
- Select the format you need as output - the template you want to achieve and Mergado will create it
How to deploy a new template that Mergado does not know
If you need to create a template that Mergado does not currently support, you must first create your own format.
Procedure:
- Go to the main page at the user level
- On the left is a menu and a button Custom format
- Insert the template from the URL address into the field (it cannot be uploaded as a file, share it on Dropbox or Google Drive, for example). It must be an XML or CSV file.
- In the next step, you map the elements to Mergado elements, save the format and name it.
- Your own format is ready and can be selected as the output format for your feed.
How to change the format for an existing project
If you need to change the feed format for an existing project, contact our support, who will be happy to change both the input and output feed formats for you. Unfortunately, the user does not have this permission.
